Power Plant

Since the ’70 Telea Tecnovision’s system are used to check the boiler’s flame of frontal, front-back and tangential burners. The great experience acquired in this field leads to offer a product based on a consolidated project that, in conjuncion with the quality of the materials employed, such as optical periscopes and scabbards made of special steels, enables to guarantee a certain return of the investment over time. Telea Tecnovision supports the customer offering technical services, maintenance activities and spare parts all over the world, also for systems installed more than 30 years ago.

SONDATEC | High temperature cooled housings

SONDATEC housing series have been developed to allow the use of television camera in high temperature environments, as glass process, cement industry, iron&steel plant and boiler. These high-temperature camera systems provide clear, crisp images of the combustion process in boilers, furnaces, kilns, incinerators and other combustion chambers. With the real-time image provided, operators and engineers can monitor the proper flow of fuel and raw materials, reduce emissions, reduce fuel consumption, speed up boiler light off, and improve safety.
SONDATEC housings are available in different lengths from 300 mm up to 4000 mm, with diameter 89 mm available for the new release 2.0.They are typically endowed with axial vision and they can allow diagonal angles of vision up to 105°.
Depending on the behavior of the chemicals involved in the process, SONDATEC camera housing should be made by special stainless steels, high-resistance alloys or by using superficial protections.
SONDATEC camera housings employ triple-wall laminar flow for efficient water cooling of the camera and allow operation in temperatures up to 2200°C (≈4000°F). Otherwise a special air cooled system allows operation in temperatures up to 700°C (≈1300°F).
SONDATEC housings are “pressurized”: an integral compressed air system supplies clean air (or appropriate gas) for cooling and particulate removal from the lens. In such a way the lens doesn’t require any expensive protection glass, crystal and protection porthole. A constant supply of clean air is essential for proper camera operation and protection: GFATEC series represent an effective filtration system able to remove contaminants and to provide high quality clean air in industrial environments.
SONDATEC housing is designed to be mounted either directly through the wall of a furnace or by using OUTEC series, a wall fixing medium endowed with a protective shutter type “porthole” that increases safety and easy maintenance.
If it is requested a penetration inside the furnace, SONDATEC housing may be provided with retraction devices, INTEC series: in case of system failure, or failure of the cooling supply, the retraction device automatically removes the housing from the furnace and seals the furnace porthole.

INTEC | Retracting devices for camera housings

The automated insertion/extraction systems of the INTEC series, have been designed to ensure an easy operation and protection of the high temperature camera housings SONDATEC and periscopes SONDATEC PRO in high temperature situations.
The system consists of a rail unit, pneumatic activator and porthole shutter plate for the furnace wall.
The CABTEC control cabinet system, which controls all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic functions, also control the safe extraction of the housing from the furnace when water/air flow are impaired or the camera working temperature is exceeded. When extracted, the SONDATEC is further protected against high temperatures by a passive shutter system which closes the porthole.
Our Engineering Dept will provide the assistance required for the correct functioning of the system with specific drawings also for the aperture on the furnace wall.
The dimensions of all mechanical interfaces of the INTEC system are compatible with the well famous furnace camera TELEA MARELLI series CCF200 – CCF210 e TELEA CCF310 – CCF312 – CCF311.

CABTEC | Control cabinets

The control cabinets of the CABTEC series are designed for the management and control of all TECNOVISION high temperature camera systems.

The units provide the correct voltages to the cameras and ancillary systems, irrespective of the available local supply voltage (230Vac, 115Vac, 48Vac, 24Vac, 50 or 60 Hz). The units include all the safety and warning features required for the correct management of the system. Various type of internal instrumentation like pressure cages, flow meters and thermostats (analogue or digital as required) provide full control of all system’s operations and conditions.
All cabinets and associated system’s conduits are available in differing materials to suit the local environment.
